Process/Reflection
There are many religions that incorporate the idea of a spiritual journey into their doctrines/practices. Yet, one of the key things that sets the Christian pilgrim apart from those other faiths is that the Christian journey is not a task to be accomplished, or a discipline to acquire, but a proclamation to publish. "Go into all the world," Jesus tells his disciples, so that all nations might hear the good news that Christ--by his death and resurrection--has defeated sin, death, and the power of the devil. The gospel of Christ is the good news that sets terrified and troubled hearts at peace.
